Born in Joliet, Illinois I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. I graduated from the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign in 2001 with a Bachelors of Engineering in Computer Science and Johns Hopkins in 2002 with a Masters in Computer Science. Currently I’m serving as CTO for a software firm in Chapel hill, North Carolina.

I met my lovely wife Libby in high school and we married a long time ago.
